Outright Purchase (Sell Your Watch):
If you’d like to sell your watch quickly and receive payment without delay, we offer competitive outright purchase options.
We carefully assess your watch based on current market conditions, condition, and completeness. Once we agree on a price, you’ll receive prompt payment.
This option suits clients who value speed, certainty, and a straightforward transaction.
Consignment:
Consignment allows us to sell your watch on your behalf while you retain ownership until it sells.
We typically accept watches that are:
- In excellent condition
- Complete with full set (original box, papers, and accessories where applicable)
- In demand with good resale appeal
- Approved at our discretion
How the consignment process works:
- Your watch is stored securely while in our care
- We professionally photograph, present, and market your watch across our channels
- We manage all enquiries, viewings, and negotiations
- Once sold, you receive the agreed net proceeds promptly after funds clear
- Minimum consignment period is 30 days
Our fees: A minimum fee of $500 or 3% of the final sale price (whichever is greater), payable only when your watch sells.

Once we identify a strong match, we handle authentication, verification, and the full transaction — giving you access to opportunities with greater security and peace of mind.
Our Approach to Every Watch:
Every watch that passes through Timepiece Sterls Australia is thoroughly authenticated and assessed. Where appropriate, we provide our own dealer warranty on eligible pieces for added confidence.
